Mr. Abramowitz is Board Certified in Commercial Real Estate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, AV rated by Martindale Hubbell, and has structured transactions involving billions of dollars. Mr. Abramowitz’s practice has included extensive representation of institutional and entrepreneurial clients in a diverse range of corporate, venture capital and commercial lending transactions. Mr. Abramowitz’s real estate practice has focused on industrial, office, and mixed use development projects, financings, joint ventures and other equity arrangements, securitizations, and related transactions.

Mr. Abramowitz’s practice includes a wide range of matters pertaining to the negotiation and preparation of partnerships, joint ventures, limited liability companies, limited partnerships and corporations and the issuance of stock or other forms of equity participations and the structuring of venture financing projects, as well as real estate litigation related matters. Mr. Abramowitz has also had extensive experience in a range of commercial lending and portfolio and collateralized obligation financings.

In his real estate related practice, Mr. Abramowitz has been counsel to lenders, borrowers, developers, major tenants, and financial institutions in transactions involving billions of dollars, including loans with equity participations and tiered tranches of participation by other lenders; a multistate recapitalization financing of a major national developer involving creation of multiple collateral pools and differing tranches of participations; interim financing and joint ventures for the development and construction of major class A downtown office towers; joint venture structuring and financing of development of mixed‑use campus development projects; and creation of derivative securities in regard to various financings. Mr. Abramowitz has also overseen the negotiation of major construction contracts and the negotiation and documentation of major build to suit projects. Mr. Abramowitz has also represented lenders, developers and financial institutions and major tenants in regard to strip, community and regional shopping center projects.
