Pam Crosby

Litigation/Trial Paralegal

As the firm’s senior litigation/trial paralegal, Pam has over 26 years of experience in the legal industry across three states with the greater part of those years dedicated to civil litigation.  Her litigation experience encompasses the entire litigation lifecycle: initial intake of facts; pre-litigation research of facts, issues and the prevailing law; research and preparation of petitions, answers, motions, discovery, trial preparation, and pre- and post-trial motions and briefs as well as appellate briefs and petitions for writs of mandamus.  Transactional practice areas include extensive experience in preparation and analysis of Affirmative Action Plans and Adverse Impact Analyses for OFCCP audits, real estate leases, loans, and foreclosures, preparation of documents necessary to create a business or corporate entity as well as preparation of necessary waivers, minutes, and resolutions.

Pam developed and teaches a two-week course/seminar on e-discovery for The American Institute of Paralegal Studies and is the author of A Day in the Life of a Research Paralegal, The Legal Decree, Vol. 3, Issue 2 (Spring 2004) available here; Becoming the Best in Your Field, The Verdict (Nov 2004 Issue), © The American Institute for Paralegal Studies; Certificates? Certification? Certainly!, The Legal Decree, Vol. 5, Issue 1, (Winter 2006) available here; and Technicalities, a column published quarterly in the Texas Paralegal Journal beginning with the Winter 2007 edition.

A firm believer in the use of technology to provide more efficient and timely services to clients, Pam has developed general case management applications as well as software for automation of litigation cases, real estate loans, foreclosures, and estate planning/probate.  Her current concentrations are project management, litigation support, and e-discovery.
