Prior to law school, Chandler Schmitz worked in the deregulated energy market as a commercial energy broker. This experience gave her the opportunity to develop strong negotiation skills and to develop ability to advance the needs and priorities of clients - skill-sets she draws upon daily in her legal practice.

Chandler served as a Staff Member on Texas A&M’s Law Review and co-authored a variety of scholarly works addressing issues in Texas’ Natural Resources sector. Her experience includes public policy development that affect a wide variety of industries. 

Chandler is committed to cultivating strong relationships with clients and to learning about their industries, so she can best serve their legal and business needs and assist in protecting their interests and increasing their success.
