Jonathan “Charlie” Conway is an experienced attorney with a strong background in business transactions, commercial litigation, and real estate. He brings a comprehensive perspective to his practice, enabling him to advocate effectively in disputes while also advising clients proactively to deliver practical solutions aligned with business objections.
Prior to joining Kessler Collins, Charlie independently managed a diverse caseload of commercial disputes. He has defended and prosecuted matters involving contract breaches, construction disputes, business and employment issues, commercial lease conflicts, breach of fiduciary duty claims, and collection actions. He has achieved favorable settlements through effective mediation and arbitration strategies and has represented creditors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings.
Complementing his litigation practice, Charlie has extensive transactional experience. He has guided clients through complex real estate and corporate transactions, conducting thorough due diligence, and preparing and reviewing key documents. He also advises on entity selection, formation, and governance to provide tailored solutions that support client goals. Earlier in his career, Charlie guided institutional clients through secured lending transactions and Texas home equity loan requirements, crafted and examined oil and gas title opinions, and documented and negotiated leases and sales of oil and gas mineral interests.
With a proven commitment to hard work, client service, and building long-term relationships, Charlie is dedicated to delivering practical, results-oriented legal counsel.
Charlie lives in Fort Worth with his wife and two children. Outside of work, when his time is not consumed by raising two young children, Charlie enjoys golfing and hunting and supports the TCU Horned Frogs.
