Overview
Evan Weltge is an associate in the firm’s litigation group and focuses his practice on commercial, business, and employment litigation in state and federal courts. He has successfully obtained jury verdicts on behalf of several clients in federal court and has represented both individuals and entities before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and state courts of appeals. Prior to joining Kessler Collins, Evan represented clients in private practice and served as an Assistant Attorney General representing the interests of the State of Texas in a variety of litigation matters.
He received his Juris Doctor degree from Wake Forest University School of Law, where he was an Executive Editor for the Wake Forest Law Review and Moot Court Board member. During law school, Evan served as a judicial intern for the Hons. J. Douglas McCullough and Richard Dietz at the North Carolina Court of Appeals and the Hon. Anna Blackburne-Rigsby at the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. Evan received a bachelor’s degree with highest honors in Government from the University of Texas at Austin.
